Haunted House Projects

This is a mausoleum/ catacombs style room, built at Izabella’s Curse haunted house. It was made with plywood, foam, and mortar sprayed onto the facing with a knock-down gun. The skulls and bricks on the inner part were made with a mold and cast in polyfoam. The structure was weathered with a combination of a hot knife, dry brushing, air brushing, and alcohol inks, as well as dressing with what we had from stock.

This is a family library/ study scene in Izabella’s Curse haunted house. I designed and created this look starting from sketches and moving to models and eventually construction and detailing. The scene was weathered using the product “Permablood”, a screw driver to punch holes in the walls, and a combination of tempera paint, wood stain, and water, in a spray bottle. Pages from books were torn out and crumpled then glued together as well.

These are pustules coming out of the walls in the library scene. They were made using spray foam, liquid latex, tempera paint, and a product called “dura oil.” It was then weathered using the spray bottle mix
